Bridgewater- Debra A. (Chemelli) Evans, age 41, of Bridgewater, formerly of Randolph and Belmont, died Dec. 8, 2005, at home after a year long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Daniel R. Evans Jr.
Born Nov. 4, 1964, in Boston, she was the daughter of William and Mary (Corcoran) Chemelli of Belmont.
Raised and educated in Belmont, Mrs. Evans was a graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1983, and Norwich University, in Vermont, in 1987, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business.
A homemaker, she had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past three years, coming from Randolph, where she had lived for 10 years.
Mrs. Evans volunteered her time for the Bridgewater school system and youth sports.
She enjoyed summers at her home on Lake Winnepesaukee.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her son, Sean P. Evans; her daughter, Lisa M. Evans; her brother, William Chemelli of Belmont; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also the daughter-in-law of Dan Evans of Plymouth and Alice Evans of Randolph.
Her funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Monday at 9:45 am, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
