Donald L. “Swanee” Swanson, 74, of Derry, NH passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Born in Quincy, MA, he grew up in Brockton, MA. Donald served in the US Navy and was an active member in the Coastal Conservation Association of NH. He retired from the Shaw’s Warehouse where he was a produce inspector. He was a 50-year lifetime member at the Vega Club in Brockton.
He is survived by his daughter Traci Swanson of Brockton, son Jeffrey Swanson of Brockton, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as a brother Robert Swanson and his wife Donna and a sister the late Anne Barone.
Following cremation, a memorial reception will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 1 – 4pm at the Vega Club, 895 Warren Avenue, Brockton.
