Sharon A. Milewski, 72, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Brooklyn, CT. Sharon is survived by a husband of 49 years, and three daughters, Darlene Davis, Amy Camara, and Lisa Schilb. She also leaves behind a grandson, Neil, and a granddaughter, Allison. She is incredibly missed, and her beautiful heart will live on through her legacy on this earth, her daughters.
Sharon was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She graduated from Classical High School. She worked as a medical assistant and transcriptionist for much of her career, but her true love (and talent) lay in in artistic creation, usually in the form of cake decorating. Sharon’s cakes were well-loved and appreciated in the communities in which she lived and she decorated thousands of cakes in the 50 plus years in which she honed her craft. She enjoyed a variety of activities with her family and her husband, Charles. She loved to travel and enjoyed an Alaskan cruise a few years ago. She loved art in all its forms and was talented with knitting, crocheting, painting, charcoals and many more.
Although most of her life was spent in Massachusetts, the last four years were spent in a beautiful home in Connecticut, where she enjoyed getting involved in her community and making new friends. She was an avid fan of trying new restaurants and exploring her local communities.
The funeral will be held on Friday September 28, 2018 with a Mass at 12:30 PM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St, Worcester. HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St, Worcester, MA is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions may be made to your local Animal shelter in Sharon’s name.
