Obituary

Francis E. Delorge, 94, of Berlin, passed away on Tuesday September 25, 2018 at his home. He was born in Springfield, MA on October 4, 1923 the son of Edmond and Lillian (Works) Delorge and was a lifelong resident of Berlin. He attended Berlin High School and was a US Army Veteran of World War II during which he received the European, African, Middle Eastern Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Francis has been employed as a pipe fitter for Brown Company and James River and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the D. A. V., and the American Legion. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer, and a passionate Red Sox fan.

Family includes his children Stephen Delorge and his wife Sabrina of Berlin, NH, Cynthia Delorge of Hudson, NH and Timothy Delorge and his partner Louis Rodriguez of Pompano Beach, FL; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Cecile (Boulanger) Delorge.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 27th at Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave, Berlin. Interment will be in the New City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin on Wednesday, September 26th from 7 PM to 9 PM. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
