Grace (LaGrassa) Mullin, a 29 year resident of Somerville and a former 12 year resident of Everett and a former 21 year resident of Nalcerest, Florida entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Life Care Center in Stoneham. She was 98 years of age.
Grace was born in Fitchburg on June 16, 1920, a daughter of the late Luciano LaGrassa and Lena (Ferrante) LaGrassa. She grew up in the North End of Boston where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Grace was a hairdresser in Boston for 10 years before working at Filene's Basement as a Clerk for 20 years. She enjoyed dancing but found her most enjoyment in life spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grace is the beloved wife of the late Peter V. Mullin. She is the devoted mother of Patricia Langan and her husband James of Somerville and John Mullin and his wife Norma of Lynnfield. She is the loving Grandma/Mimi to James Langan and his wife Peggy, Timothy Langan, Rachel Mullin, Danielle Conley and her husband Jamie, Michael Mullin and his wife Chrissy, Sandi Arenas-Stacey and her wife Amanda Stacey, Richard Victorino and his wife Jennifer and also GG/Mimi to Ashley, Max, Dylan, Cole, Cade, Obi and Connor. She is the beloved sister of the late Josephine DeSisto and husband Gus. She is the dear aunt of Judy Budny and her husband Bob and Joanne Mazzola and her companion Joe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Grace's Funeral on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 8:30 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Leonard's Church, 320 Hanover St. North End of Boston at 9:45 A.M. Her burial will be at the Veteran's Administration National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:00 P.M. Her visiting hours will be on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2 to 6 P.M. in the funeral home.
