Mary K. Szafarz
Manchester– Mary K. (Klocek) Szafarz, 93, died September 18, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on October 19, 1924 the daughter of Vincent and Stella (Zwiercan) Klocek.
She had been a lifelong parishioner of St. Hedwig Church.
Prior to her retirement she had been a bookkeeper for Ted Herbert’s Music Mart.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter W. Szafarz who died on August 13, 1996.
Family members include one son, Steve Szafarz and his wife, Abbey, two daughters, Anna Moran and her husband, John, Eleanor Felch and her husband, Daniel, all of Manchester, two grandsons, James and Joseph, and one sister, Josie Lee of Seattle, WA.
A calling hour took place on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 10 am to 11 am at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial followed in the cemetery chapel at 11:30 am in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Donald St., Bedford.
