Donna Ruth Cooke Rawlins passed away suddenly Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. Donna was born in Oak Park, Ill on October 26, 1952 to Rev. Donald and Lois Cooke.
She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Rawlins, mother, Lois Cooke, sisters Cheryl Armstrong, Laurie (Clif) Extract, Stacy (Jeffrey) Wright, children Aaron (Cat) Gupton; Lori (Jeffrey) Roth, Jeffrey (Jaime) Rawlins, 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and preceded in death by her father Rev. Donald Cooke and brother Jeffrey Cooke.
Donna was a child of God and loved Christ and reading Scripture. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and family in Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, South Carolina, and Idaho. She enjoyed camping, reading, and spreading the word of God. “Well done good and faithful servant!..” Matthew 25:23
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Ocilla Baptist Church, 120 E. 5th St., Ocilla, GA at 2:00 pm, family visitation at 1:00 pm.
