Marie G. (Ognibeni) Alberino, a long-time Medford resident died Monday at the Dexter House Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was 83.
Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and the late Vita (Febo) Ognibeni. A Medford resident for nearly 50 years, Marie worked for 25 years with the First National Bank of Boston in the cafeteria.
She was the beloved wife of the late Frank S. Alberino. She was a devoted mother to Donna Alberino of Medford, Joseph Alberino and his wife Rose of England. She was a loving grandmother to Rebecca Mackin and her husband Jim of FL, Robert Alberino of Easton. She was a dear sister of Joseph Ognibeni of Malden and Charles Ognibeni of Boston.
Her Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, December 12 at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
