In Taunton, Annette “Jean” Dennen, Age 85, passed away peacefully in Longmeadow Nursing Home while surrounded by her loving family. Jean was the wife of the late Richard J. Dennen. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Manuel & Belle (Thibault) Silvia. Jean was educated in Taunton schools and had resided here all her life. She was employed at the former Renee Curtain Factory, K Mart and enjoyed doing child care at the YMCA until she was 80 years old. Jean enjoyed dancing, dining out, traveling, visiting Disney World, singing in the church choir and above all cherished her time with family. She is survived by her loving children, Michael Dennen and his wife Debra of Sagamore, Stephen Dennen and his wife Paula of Taunton, Richard Dennen and his wife Carol of Taunton, Kathleen Dennen of Taunton and Pamela Andre and her husband Luis of Taunton. She also leaves her siblings, Manuel Silvia of Berkley and the late Richard Nolette , Armand Nolette , David Silvia, Lorraine Spearin, Gloria Kereki and Mary Lou Taurazas. Jean also leaves her eight loving grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton on Friday September 28th at 10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 11 am. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
