Paul Scott “Buddie” Labbe, 61, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2018. Born in Berlin, NH, Buddie is preceded in death by his dearest mother and best friend, Barbara Theresa Labbe, and his step-father Herbert Labbe. Buddie is survived by his daughter, Reva Labbe of Norwalk, CT; his brothers Patrick Labbe and wife Veronica of Saco, ME and Rodney Labbe and his wife Diane of Dummer, NH; sisters Gayle Labbe-Vanasse and her husband Stanley of St. Croix USVI, Lisa Labbe-O’Betz and Husband Jeff of Augusta, GA, and Donna (Labbe) Fortier and her husband Mike of Chelmsford, MA. He is also survived by his girlfriend Sue Corbeil of Milan, NH, and his very good friend Carl Patry of Berlin, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
Buddie spent his career and second home as an adventurous commercial fisherman and shared many hobbies with dear friends: snowmobiling, ATV riding, and fishing on streams and lakes. Buddie would always avail himself to all the outdoor adventures that northern NH has to offer. He was a friend and helpful hand to all. Buddie will be cremated and his ashes laid to rest in the place he called home—the sea.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
