Obituary

Marion C. (Grant) (Ostroski)) Tantillo, age 95, of Brockton, died peacefully September 19, 2018. Marion was the wife of the late James Tantillo and Anthony Ostroski. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Sanders) Grant. Raised and educated in Quincy, Marion had been a resident of Brockton since 1960. Over the years, she had been a waitress and hostess at the Toll House, Christos and D’Ann’s restaurants, and for many years assisted the elderly in their homes. Marion loved to cook, spend time in her home with her family and pets and decorate the house for the holidays.

Marion is survived by her children Sandy McPeeks and her husband Burt of Newman, GA, Donna Dupras and her husband Bob of Plymouth, Gary Ostroski and his wife Linda of Braintree, Scott Tantillo of Brockton and Todd Tantillo and his companion Cindy Martin of Brockton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, her childhood friend Blanch and close neighbors Kay Acardi and Larry Lamonicia. She was predeceased by her five siblings and one grandchild.

A Graveside Service will be held in Calvary Cemetery, 163 N. Cary Street, Brockton, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:30am. Please consider donations in Marion’s name to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
