LACONIA---Judith “Judy” Fox Magoon, 67, of Union Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Lakes Region General Hospital following a period of declining health.
Judy was born in Exeter, NH, to Paul and Pauline Fox. Judy was predeceased by her father Paul Bruce Fox and her brother Dennis Edward Fox. Judy loved her family very much, and she especially enjoyed hosting a family Christmas party every year. Everyone’s favorite items were her homemade raised rolls and her whoopie pies. She also took great joy in making baby blankets to welcome every new member of the family. Judy’s favorite hobbies were cooking, camping and fishing, and she enjoyed traveling with her family. The trips we heard about through the years were the ones to Hershey, Pennsylvania, with her daughter, Pauline and her family, and trips she took to Hawaii with her Mom, and to Disney World with her children.
Judy is survived by her three sons, Edward Sargent, Jr., and his wife, Elizabeth of Concord, NH, Christopher Sargent of Newark, VT, and Bruce Sargent and Angel Presby of Epsom, NH; and her daughter, Pauline Sargent Demers and her husband, Mark of Raymond, NH. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren Ashley, Michaela, Mikey, Ryan, Bradley, Paul, Jacob, Aubrey, and Naveh. She was also blessed with a great-grandson, Mason.
Loved ones include her mother, Pauline G. Fox of Pembroke, NH; three brothers, Paul Fox of Pembroke, NH, Kenneth Fox of Wilmington, VT, and Michael Fox and his wife, Wendy, of Lebanon, ME; and a sister, Diane Fox Burley and her husband, Dick, of Brooklyn, NY. She leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Park Cemetery in Pittsfield, NH. A luncheon will be provided immediately following the service.
