Joseph W. Ferris Jr. of West Roxbury, September 19, 2018. Beloved son of the late Alice J. (Sexton) and Joseph W. Ferris Sr. Loving Brother of Jane Tracy and her husband Philip A. Jr. of Boston, Mary Kerrigan and her husband Philip of North Reading, James F. Ferris of CA and John E. Ferris and his wife Nancy of Westwood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Joe was a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and Boston College. He was a former teacher in Maryland and Braintree, MA and a long-time dedicated employee of New York life Insurance Company.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Monday, Sept. 24, at 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
