TEWKSBURY, MA: Thomas J. Ogden, age 67, a resident of Tewksbury for 28 years, died Monday, December 5, 2005 at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, MA
He was the husband of Stephanie M. (Regina) Ogden, with whom he celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on October 7th.
Born in Biddeford, Maine on March 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Kathryn (Haley) Ogden.
Mr. Ogden was raised in Old Orchard, Maine.
He attended Old Orchard schools and graduated from Old Orchard High School in 1956.
Mr. Ogden resided in Saco, Maine for 16 years until moving to Tewksbury in 1977.
He was the president of T.J. Ogden Well Company, Inc. of Tewksbury, which he founded in 1981. Mr. Ogden previously worked as a brakeman for the Maine Central Railroad Company and as an engineer for the B&M Railroad Company.
Mr. Ogden was an avid antique car enthusiast. He enjoyed looking at antique cars and restoring and driving his own 1926 Ford Model T.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons; Stephen T. Ogden and his wife Patricia (Mulqueen) of Dover, NH and Thomas D. Ogden and his wife Tracey (Davis) of Tewksbury; one sister; Joan Wood and her husband David of Pittsford, NY; three grandchildren; Matthew Ogden of Dover, NH, Samantha and Amanda Ogden both of Tewksbury; his mother-in-law; Mary (Teras) Regina of Tewksbury; also several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ogden was the son-in-law of the late Stephen Regina.
Calling hours Thursday, Dec. 8th, 4-9 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, MA.
