Obituary

MULLEN - Benjamin Joseph, born August 24, 1910, beloved husband of the late Catherine, loving father of Doran, and Thomas of New York City, NY; Joseph of Smithtown, NY; and Michael of Sinking Spring, PA, died on December 3. At the time of his death he was staying with his son Joseph in Smithtown.

His drive and motivation enabled him to achieve a successful career as an executive with Bristol Metals Inc. in TN while remaining a committed father and husband. A 20 year resident of Wyomissing, PA, for the past 30 years he resided in Palm Beach, FL where he was an active member of St. Edward’s Church, the Pundits, The Beach Club, the Old Guard, the English Speaking Union and the Society of The Four Arts.

In addition to his four sons, his passing is mourned by daughters-in-law Nancy (Sheridan), and Nancy (Donnoli), and grandchildren Christopher, Stephen, Katherine and Samantha.

Friends may call at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St.,Winchester, MA from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday, December 9th. Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 10th at Saint Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Edward's Church - Benjamin Mullen Fund, 144 North County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480. A memorial service will be held in Palm Beach at a later date.
