Anthony Camoscio, Jr.
Retired Fish Cutter for A&P Markets

TEWKSBURY: Anthony Camoscio, Jr., age 95, a resident of Tewksbury for 41 years, formerly of Medford, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Angela D. (Trevisone) Camoscio, who passed away on August 29, 2008.

Born in Boston on October 23, 1922, he was the son of the late Anthony and Elena (D’Milla) Camoscio.

Anthony was raised in Boston, attended Boston schools, and graduated from the former Dom Bosco High School.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Fish Cutter by the A&P Markets in Boston.

He resided in Medford for 21 years until moving to Tewksbury in 1978.

Anthony was an avid gardener and also enjoyed fishing in Maine and on Cape Cod.

He is survived by two children, Anthony Camoscio, III and his wife Barbara of Tewksbury and Elena M. Power and her husband Daniel of Hernando, FL; three grandchildren, Stephanie Birchenough and her husband Michael of Gloucester, Michael A. Camoscio and his wife Kathy of Wilmington, and David A. Camoscio of Tewksbury; one great granddaughter, Molly Camoscio of Wilmington. He leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Anthony was the brother of the late Frank and Cosmo Camoscio.

Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 24, from 5-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral procession will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 300 5th Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451.
