Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St.,(Rte 123)Brockton, Monday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman) Brockton at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Cecilia M. (McMullen) McDonagh died Thursday morning at St. Joseph Manor after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Hannah (Costello) McMullen. She was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1939. She had been a resident of Norwood from 1968 to 2004 and had been resident of St. Joseph Manor in Brockton since March of 2004. In 1968 she retired from the Boston Office of the FBI. While a resident of Brockton, she had been a member of the 20th Century Club and the Brockton Catholic Chorasters. She helped organize the Boston Chapter of the Society of FBI Alumni, Inc. and remained an active member. While a resident of Norwood she had been a member of St. Catherine of Siena and the Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mary Glidden of Casselberry, FL; John McMullen of Brockton; James McMullen of Dennisport, Thomas McMullen of W. Bridgewater; Margaret Race of Raynham; Joseph McMullen of Brockton; Timothy McMullen of Pembroke and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Michael J. McDonagh, retired FBI Agent and sister of the late Alexander W. McMullen and Barbara A. Sullivan
