Kevin R. O'Neill, 53, of Franklin, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, September 16, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Vargas) O’Neill for the past 29 years.
Born on January 2, 1965 in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of Michael and Catherine O’Neill of Englewood, FL.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his two loving daughters, Danielle, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Kathleen of Franklin. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael of Norfolk, Virginia, Robert of West Kingston, Rhode Island, and Brian O’Neill of Venice, Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Kevin's family moved to Bridgewater, MA where he attended Bridgewater-Raynham High School where he met and later married his high school sweetheart, Beth. Kevin went on to study at the University of Rhode Island where he earned a Bachelor of Science in BioMedical Electronics Engineering. He then attended Northeastern University where he earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and later, a Master of Business Administration from Nichols College.
For over 20 years, Kevin distinguished himself in a career at Hewlett Packard where he made lifelong friends with co-workers and clients alike. He loved his job in sales as an Enterprise Account Manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Kevin will always be remembered as a strong and caring husband, father, and dear friend to all those he touched.
He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR, and being an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He had a special love for fancy cars and boats. He loved coaching many sports with his girls, spending time with family, and making fun memories.
His funeral will be held on Friday, September 21 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 8:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Blaise Church, Bellingham at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
