Andrew T. “Drew” Glynn, 21, of Hanson formerly of Whitman, passed away on Monday September 17th. He was the son of Anthony and Maura-Kate (Simmons) Glynn.
He was born in Weymouth, grew up in Whitman and a graduate of Whitman Hanson High School, class of 2015, where he was a member of the Baseball and Hockey teams. He also played Whitman Legion Baseball.
Drew loved his work as a plumber’s apprentice for MacDougall Plumbing & Mechanical in Quincy.
We are so proud to call you our son, brother, and friend. You gave so many happy memories that we will forever cherish. Every day you lived life to the fullest and brought joy to so many with just your smile.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Anthony and Adam, his sister Mariah, sister in love and spirit Colleen MacNeil. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Paul and Maureen Simmons of Hanson, his paternal grandparents Joanne Glynn of Rochester and the late William T. Glynn; also many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
His services will be held on Monday September 24 at 9:45AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30AM in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will be in St James Cemetery, Harvard Street, Whitman. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 23 from 2:00-6:00PM.
