Florence Elizabeth Hazzard, 89, of Rutland, VT, passed away on Thursday September 13, 2018. She was born in Berlin, NH on March 18, 1929 the daughter of Walter and Florence C. (Boutilier) Hazzard and lived in Berlin until moving to Rutland in 1986. She had been employed for 38 years by the Berlin School Department and retired as the secretary/office manager at Berlin Junior High School in 1986 and was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
Family includes her brother Harold Hazzard and wife Arlie formerly of Stark, NH and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings William Hazzard, Henry Hazzard and Beverly Sanford, step brothers Norman Hazzard and Walter A. Hazzard and half brothers Randall Murphy and Roland Murphy.
There will be no services. Interment will be in the Old City Cemetery in Berlin. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
