SPENCER: Norman H. Gosselin, 72, of Robin Rd., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Sept. 15th.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Dorothy M. (Hackett) Gosselin, his four sons Rodney G. Gosselin of Worcester, Kenneth R. Gosselin and his wife Michelle, Brian N. Gosselin and his wife Diane and Peter J. Gosselin and his wife Traci all of Spencer, a brother Albert Gosselin of Millbury, sisters Lucille Jacques and her husband Gerald of Rochdale, and Beatrice Boudreau and her husband Ronald of Charlton, 16 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by brothers Raymond, Ernest, Gerald Gosselin and sister Annette Joncas.
Norman was a sheet metal worker and teacher at Worcester Vocational Technical High School, retiring in 2008. Previously he owned and operated Century Heating & Air Conditioning in Southbridge for 18-1/2 years.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Zoel and Yvonne (Arsenault) Gosselin, he graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and later served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Norman's funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
