Obituary

BELMONT-----Joan Lewandoski, of Courtesy Avenue in Belmont, died on Friday, September 14, 2018.

Joan was born on April 9, 1932 in Taftville, CT the daughter of James and Marie (Germain) McGregor.

Joan was co-owner of C&S sales with her husband, she had a ceramic studio, Pine Knoll Ceramics for many years. She was a national certified teacher taking many seminars and classes in the northeast. Joan worked at the Belknap Bank and Trust and the Sundial Shop in Laconia.

Joan was a Girl Scout leader, bowled in a league for many years with her husband, was a member of the Ct. Gladiolus Society, and with her husband headed a major building fund when St. Joseph's new church in Belmont was being built.

Joan and her husband sponsored a fresh air child for four years and also sponsored a child from India. She loved to travel with many cruises to Alaska, Panama Canal, Caribbean and Bahamas, taking many trips to Las Vegas and Canada. She spent many weekends driving thru New England and enjoying the coast and mountains. Most of all Joan loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Chet Lewandoski, of Belmont; two sons, Peter Lewandoski of AZ, Stephen Lewandoski and his partner, Brenda Trott, of Goffstown; two daughters, Anne Cote of Sanbornton and Karen Lewandoski, of Tilton; three grandchildren, Peter James Lewandoski, Jordan Cote and Jillian Hanright; a sister, Jeanette King, of Plainville, CT and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by a daughter, Lynn Marie Lewandoski and her son-in-law, Scott Cote.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia NH.
