Teresa Luciano, of East Boston, formerly of Boston’s North End, died Thursday, September 13th. She was 78. Born and raised in Lapio, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and the Philimana (Ozilla) Luciano.
Teresa loved to spend time with her family. She loved her niece and nephew’s like they were her own children. Teresa’s family was her pride and joy, they were her world. Teresa was proud of her Italian heritage; her roots were deep with tradition.
Every Sunday the whole family gathered at Teresa and Carmella’s house for dinner. Teresa was known for her homemade pasta and enjoyed making all the traditional dishes with Carmella by her side.
Teresa was the dear sister of Carmella Trodella and her late husband Guisseppi, Angela Luciano, Angelo Luciano and the late Ralph Luciano and his wife Maria and Pasquale Luciano. She was the loving aunt to David Trodella, Fran Bruno and her husband Mark, Angelo Trodella and his wife Ann, Joseph Trodella and his wife Lorraine and Anthony Luciano.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Saint Leonard Church, Hanover Street, Boston, Tuesday, September 18th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at church one hour prior to mass. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
