SPENCER: Jeanne H. (Hamelin) Reilly, 87, of Birch Drive died Thursday, September 13 in her home after an illness.
Her husband Joseph L. Reilly died in 2010. She leaves a son, Kenneth J. Kalloch and his wife Sheila of Ft. Myers, FL, three daughters; Barbara J. McLean of Tenn., Linda J. Foley and her husband Patrick of Worcester and Cynthia J. O'Hara and her companion Donald McCall of Spencer, a brother, Paul Hamelin and his wife Lorraine of Tarpon Springs, FL, three grandchildren; Brian, Tyler & Ashley and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Reilly was born in Spencer, daughter of Noel and Ida (Cusson) Hamelin. She graduated from David Prouty High School. She was a teachers aide for 30 years at the Mercy Center in Worcester retiring in 1996. Jeanne was also a waitress at Hillcrest Country Club in Leicester for many years. She enjoyed bingo, jigsaw puzzles, sitting quietly enjoying the lake and walking on the beach collecting shells. Her most cherished times were when she was with her family. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Linda Strong, VNA Hospice and the St. Vincent Hospital dialysis department for their compassionate care.
The funeral will be held Monday, September 17 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hour are Sunday in the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 PM.
