Ralph C. Bardsley 66, of Franklin, died peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, Thursday September 13, 2018 following an illness. He was the husband of Diana L. (Goodwin) Bardsley.
Born July 7, 1952 in Waltham, a son of the late Richard T. and Irene (Foster) Bardsley, he was a resident of Franklin since 2008.
Ralph was raised and educated in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School. He worked as a machine operator for the W.A. Wilde Company in Holliston. Ralph formerly worked as a welder, and grounds keeper for the former Foxboro Raceway and Macomber Farm, Framingham.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping, creating native jewelry, crafting and playing cribbage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Matthew R. Bardsley and his fiancé Kim Howell of Marlboro, Sarah E. Bardsley and her fiancé Dominic P. Carlow, Jr, stepsons, Jason Landry and his wife Chrissie of Bellingham, Shawn Landry and his fiancé Erin Linell of Milford and brothers, Thomas R. Bardsley of Waltham and Brian J. Bardsley of Burlington.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Jared D. Dugan, August A., & Matthew E. Bardsley, Dominic P. Carlow, III, Connor, Kyle & Ella M. Landry, Camden & Caiden Landry, Cierra & Mikayla Howell, Evan Rodriguez, a great granddaughter Anneliese Zola and many nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Saturday Sept. 15th, at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 2-5PM.
His funeral service and interment at Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham will be held privately.
