FALL RIVER – Evelyn Camara, age 98 and a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, Sep. 12, 2018 in St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francisco S. Camara & the daughter of the late John & Mary (Perry) Camara.
Prior to retiring, Evelyn had worked at Stella Ann Frocks as a machine operator for many years, was a faithful parishioner of St. Michael’s Church, and a member of both the Royal Travelers & the North End Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include Evelyn’s cousins: Joan Rosario & her children: Michael, Steven, & Susan; Lena T. Ramsay & her children: Frederick, Michael, Scott, & Patricia; Irene Gills & her children; & many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Monday here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Sunday 4:00-7:00 P.M.
