SHREWSBURY: Bradford Wright Lewis, 48, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Sherborn died on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Suzanne Hunt Lewis., his step-son: Brandon Starrett Gwynne, a daughter: Aurora Jane Lewis, all of Shrewsbury; his mother: Jacqueline Lewis of Medway; and his sister Amanda (Lewis) Amato and her husband Robert M. Amato of Spring Valley, CA.
Brad was born on July 18, 1970, the son of Jacqueline I. (Gaulin) Lewis and the late Edwin F. Lewis Jr. He graduated in 1988 from Dover-Sherborn and also earned in Eagle Scout award that year. He graduated in 1992 from Hobart College in Geneva, NY. Brad worked for the same company for the entire time he worked. From 1986-2018, Brad worked in different positions, moving up within Dow Electronics, culminating his career.
Brad enjoyed his summers in Center Lovell, Maine. His favorite times were spent on the porch looking at the lake. Brad was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots and Red Sox. Some of his favorite times were when he coached high school football. His sense of humor and laughter will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held in John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, MA 01760 on Tuesday, September 18th from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of John Everett & Sons Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M. at the conclusion of the visitation.
Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 19th at 10:00 A.M. in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cemetery Lane, Sherborn, MA 01770 followed by a gathering with a luncheon at Pilgrim Fellowship Hall.
