MARTHA M. CARDOZA

Martha M. (George) Cardoza, 82, of Fairhaven passed away at home on Tuesday September 11, 2018, surrounded by her family after a long illness with multiple myeloma. She was the widow of Richard P. Cardoza, Sr.
Born in Cranston, RI, the daughter of the late Louis and Bernice (Titus) George, she lived in Fairhaven for most of her life.
Martha enjoyed gardening, going to the beach. and spending time with her family and friends.
Martha's first husband is William Q. "Biff" MacLean, Jr. of Fairhaven, with whom she had four children, Doug MacLean of Fairhaven, Kim Liarikos (John) of Dartmouth, Lauren Fontaine (Chuck) of Mattapoisett, and the late Linda MacLean. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brittany MacLean, Dodie Fontaine, Andre Fontaine, and Emma Liarikos, and great-grandchildren, Nora and Jacob Knight.
She was predeceased by her brother, Milton P. George.
Her family would like to express their gratitude for the care given to her from Ascend Hospice, Bernice Perry and staff, and her friend, Carol Macomber.
In accordance with Martha's wishes, her funeral service and burial in Riverside Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Fairhaven High School Alumni, P.O.
