Obituary

Laurent E. Madore, 71 of Haverhill and a former resident of Salem, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, with his family by his side.
Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Fernand P. and Evelyn D. (Berube) Madore. A graduate of Salem Vocational School, Larry worked most of his life as a machinist. He first worked for Metcom which later became Omni Wave and lastly for DJM Precision Machines of Beverly. He was a member of the PLAV, Post 55 of Salem and the Beverly Union Club. Larry was a sportsman who was happiest being outside in nature, camping and fishing. He always looked forward to his trips to the “north country.”
He is survived by his son, Ronni L. Semons-Madore of Lynn, his daughter, Nadine Hornblower of Maine, two sisters, Lorraine A. Madore and Doris P. Madore both of Haverhill. He also leaves six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Carol (McDonald) and Claudette (Dionne).
Relatives and friends are invited to his visiting hours on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM in the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem with his vigil service to take place at 5:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
