HOLLIS- James “Bimbo” Edward Chadbourne, age 65, of Waterboro Road, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 10, 2018 at Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Portland on March 3, 1953, a son of the late Earl and Katherine (Rice) Chadbourne and graduated from Portland High School.
Over the years, he worked for Monson as a chemical worker.
James will always be remembered as an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing softball, fishing and watching all sporting events and considered the Green Bay Packers as the Number 1 football team.
He is predeceased by his parents; and siblings- Donald and Raymond Chadbourne, and Ruth Murphy.
He is survived by his beloved wife- Cheryl (Meserve) Chadbourne; children- Tara Colello and Jodi Mazerolle and her husband Jason; stepson- Jeffrey Grover and his wife Tammy; siblings- Shirley Marianicci, Gladys Lovejoy, Cindy Lovejoy, and Mary Swartz; and grandchildren- Jonathan, Anthony, Sarah, Jason, and Jeffrey.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 21, from 5 – 7 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. Burial will be private at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery. Online condolence messages can be submitted at www.mainefuneral.com
