John Cabral, 95, of Dartmouth passed away Sunday September 9, 2018. He was the husband of the late Gilda (Souza) Cabral.
Mr. Cabral was the proprietor of J.C. Motors, and later worked for the New Bedford Council on Aging.
During World War II, he served in the U. S. Navy. Many years ago, he had played football for the Murphy Club.
He is survived by his daughter, Claire J. Pion; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Walter John Cabral and Melody Medeiros, and brother of the late Manuel J. Cabral, Mary Cesolini, and Elizabeth Costa.
