Obituary


Gregory George Rivard, 70, of Worcester passed away on September 9, 2018 in UMass Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Ruth (Burbo) Rivard. He also leaves his two daughters, Tracy Diaz and her husband Danny and Stacy Kulma and her husband Zig, all of Worcester; six grandchildren, Ryan, Mandi, Jake, Kyle, Lexi and Sadie; one great grandchild, Jaxen and two brothers, Steven and Douglas Rivard. He was predeceased by his brother Wayne Rivard. He was born in Leominster a son of late Edward and Eula Jo (Mercer) Rivard.
Mr. Rivard worked for Modern Manufacturing Co., for forty years prior to retiring. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Gregory was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who loved and lived to care for his family. He was rewarded as the “Pepa” to the grandchildren that cherished him.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
