Obituary

Lois Fairbanks (Brown) Cotton, 88, passed away after a period of declining health on Thursday, September 6 in Metrowest, Natick.
Born to the late Edwin and Ruth (Blake) Brown on September 6, 1930 in Newton, MA. She was a longtime resident of Natick.
Lois enjoyed reading, doing word searches, socializing with all her friends and adopted family, also taking part in the many activities that were happening daily at Beaumont Nursing Home. Being a true New England Patriots fan, Lois would never miss a game.
She is survived by her loving “adopted family:” Lisa Maclellan and her husband, Don and their children and grandchildren: Heather, Amber, Alex, John, Anastasia and Taylee; her life-long friend, Helen Sincuk and her roommate in Beaumont, with whom she bonded: Donna Tronec.
Lois is predeceased by her parents and sister, Virginia “Ginny” Brown.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, MA 01760 at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 15th.
Burial will be private.
Visitation will precede the service in the funeral home from 9:00-10:45 A.M on Saturday, September 15th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lois’ name to: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015.
Lois family would like to acknowledge Beumont Rehabiliation and Skilled Nursing Center for their excellent care and Officer Ron Richardson, for his compassion.
