Obituary

Worcester – Dennis W. Sampson, 73, of Worcester died on Thursday, September 6th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus with his family by his side.
Mr. Sampson is survived by his daughter, Tina M. Brick and her longtime boyfriend, Randy Smith of Worcester; 3 brothers, George Sampson and his wife, Nancy of Florida, his twin brother Douglas Sampson and his wife, Joan of Shrewsbury and Billy Smith and his wife, Carol of Worcester; two sisters, Joyce Bergman of Shrewsbury and Connie Southworth and her husband, Paul of Sterling; two grandchildren, Joseph and Isabella Smith and many nephews and nieces.
Dennis was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his father, George Sampson; his mother and stepfather William and Beatrice (Garganigo) Smith; his longtime companion, Carol Naster; two sisters, Beverly Falk and Priscilla Mara and a brother Bradford Smith.
Mr. Sampson worked for over 40 years with the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union Local 3 and finished his career with Adams Tile Company. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the New England Patriots and could often be found with his friends on the golf course. Dennis was a member of the PNI Club in Worcester and enjoyed spending time with his family and watching old cowboy movies.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 10th from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St.
