Lucy G. Guglielmino, formerly of Whipple Road, Smithfield, died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. She was the widow of Anthony Guglielmino.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Carmelo and Anna (Antonucci) Monaco. She had worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the office of Gunning and LaFazia in Providence.
She is survived by her children, Paula Palazzini and her husband, Richard, of Cumberland; Diane Ruotolo and her husband, Roger, of Glocester; and Vincent Guglielmino and his partner, Joseph Rubino, of Hope Valley; her grandchildren, Lauren and Brandon Ruotolo; and her sister, Nina Vitale of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Rev. Vincent Monaco.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 in St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation is Tuesday morning, 8:30-9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Scalabrini Villa Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 860 North Quidnessett Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
