ACTON, ME- William S. Bowman, age 81, passed away on September 3, 2018 at the
Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after a
courageous battle of Mesothelioma (Lung Cancer)
He was born in Weymouth, MA on May 25, 1937, a son of the late Sinclair and Nettie
(Vincent) Bowman.
He attended Rockland High, and from there went on to serve our country in the
US. Air Force.
After his return from the Air Force, William started working at Anderson Insulation
in Abington MA, he worked there for
30 plus years. His hobbies where Fishing, traveling, and playing cards.
William is predeceased in death by his late brother Elmar Bowman Of
of Rockland MA and his two sons James Bowman of Brockton MA and Steven Bowman.
of Whitman MA.
William moved to Maine from Brockton MA in 2001.
He married is second wife Betsy Clark Bowman, after being together for 22 years they,
got married on August 11, 2006.
William is survived by his loving wife Betsy Clark Bowman, and two sons
William Bowman and Danny Bowman, both of Union Maine
he is also survived by three daughters
Patricia Bowman of Cape Cod MA, Vicky Bowman, last known address Cape Cod MA,
Laura Bowman Utgard of Springvale ME, Step children included
Robert Bowman of Quincy MA, Debra Bowman of Brockton MA, Valerie Pottle of Waterboro MA.
he is also survived by lots
of Grand children and great grand children. Lots of nieces and nephew’s.
The family will be doing a private ceremony.
