Obituary

Robert P. “Rob” Sullivan, 54, formerly of Millis, died Monday, September 3, 2018 of a sudden heart attack at his home. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Hoag) Sullivan for the past 31 years.

Born in Waltham on May 9, 1964, he was the son of Shirley (Hanley) Sullivan of Naples, Florida and the late Richard Sullivan.

Rob grew up in Wellesley and graduated from Wellesley High School. He attended UMass and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Framingham State. He moved to Millis in 1987 where he resided for many years until moving to Medway 5 years ago.

Rob was a master electrician owning his own company, R. Sullivan Electrical.

Rob loved golf, fishing and spending time on his boat with his sons and family. When his boys were younger, he coached many sports and especially loved coaching baseball.

Rob was an avid N.E. sports fan and was a longtime season ticket holder of the Pawtucket Paw Sox.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sons Kyle and Darrell, both of Medway and Laconia, New Hampshire and formerly of Millis.

He is also survived by his siblings, Jane Parker, Richard Sullivan and Sharon Sullivan, all of Naples and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Cynthia Sullivan.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
