Elaine Brunaccini, a long-time Medford resident and formerly of Dorchester, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 28th. She was 63.
Raised in Dorchester and Medford, Elaine attended Medford High School and The Newman School in Boston. She graduated with the Class of 1972. Following high school, she continued her education to work in the healthcare industry.
Elaine’s career was spent working as an Occupational Therapist, which she enjoyed very much. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling. Her last trip was spent traveling around Europe visiting Italy, Ireland and England. She also liked going to the beach. Elaine loved the ocean air, sitting out in the sand and being by the water. She cared about people and animals equally. Elaine often spent her free time volunteering at local animal shelters and delivering meals to people, especially during the holidays.
Elaine was a cherished daughter of the late Robert F. Brunaccini and the late Helen F. (McNamara) Keough. She was the dear sister of Richard Brunaccini of Stockbridge, Wisconsin and the life-long friend of Joan Sullivan and her husband William of Weymouth. She is also survived by her aunt, uncle, many loving cousins and her cherished pets, Sparky and Josie.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Monday, September 10th from 9 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with a graveside service conducted in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford at 11:30 AM.
