MONAHAN, Claire Winifred (McNally) of Dedham, died peacefully November 28, 2005 at her home after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Edward A. Monahan. Mother of Edward Monahan and his wife Bobbie of Wrentham, Marna Abessinio and her husband Francis of Wilmington, DE, Claire Ciampa and her husband Ed of Arlington, VA, Eileen Pavese and her husband Larry of Dedham, John Monahan and his wife Kathy of Randolph, Michael Monahan of Franklin and Matthew Monahan and his wife Debbie of St. Peters, MO. Cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Devoted aunt and “mother” to many beloved nieces and nephews. Loving sister of the late Peg Murphy, Rand (Bud) McNally, Vincent McNally, Mary Sutton, Fred McNally and Betty Ann Cervantes.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Sat. at 9:00 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Fri. from 4-8 PM. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
