David J. Kallio, age 30, of Foxboro passed away suddenly September 3rd. Born in Stoughton, he was raised in Mansfield and graduated from Mansfield High School and the University of Vermont at Lyndon. He worked as a Chef for the 99 Restaurant in Foxboro. He was an adrenaline enthusiast that loved the outdoors, snowboarding, kayaking and riding his ATV.
Beloved son of Honor M. Stanton of Foxboro and her significant other Erle Gonsalves. Brother of Dan McCaffrey and his wife Kristin of WA, Amanda Kallio of Taunton, Christine Pratt and her husband Ray of ME, and Billy Roy and his wife Tanja of Germany. Uncle of Bethany, Alyson, Lucy, Josie, Cameron and Pia. Nephew of Christine Smith and her husband Barry of Canton and their children: Robb and Samantha and the late Jack Hill and his children: Katelyn, Ashley, Casey and John III. Best friend of Mike Everett and his wife Samantha and their children: Sophia and Vinnie. Also survived by his 4 legged friend, Tucker. Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm. Burial private.
