Harold A. “Harry” Christopher
Longtime Tewksbury Realtor

TEWKSBURY: Harold A. “Harry” Christopher, age 69, a resident of Tewksbury for 37 years, passed away at he Winchester Hospital on Monday, September 3, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Maryanne (Curtin) Christopher, with whom he celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on May 18, 2018.

Born in Melrose on September 22, 1948, he was the son of the late Alvero and Hilde (Mayer) Christopher.

Harry was raised in Wakefield, attended Wakefield schools, and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1967.

Following high school, he attended Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island.

For over 30 years, Harry was employed as a Realtor. He began his career in Wilmington working at Realty World Forest-Conant Real Estate Office. He later joined the DeWolfe Real Estate Agency in Tewksbury, and was currently working for the Coldwell-Banker Real Estate Agency in Tewksbury.

In his spare time, Harry enjoyed gardening, fishing, and traveling to Martha’s Vineyard. In addition, Harry was a longtime member and supporter of the Tewksbury Redmen Football Club.

Besides his wife Maryanne, he is survived by one son. Benjamin A. Christopher and his wife Kimberly of Tewksbury; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Hailey, and Daelynn Christopher; two brothers, Thomas P. Christopher and his wife Susan of Hudson, NH, and Raymond O. Christopher and his wife Mariolina of Wakefield; his God- daughter, Michaela Curtin; also many extended family member and friends.

Calling hours are Sunday, Sept. 9, from 3-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral procession will begin on Monday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his graveside service at 11 a.m. at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury. Donations in Harry’s memory may be made to the Redmen Football Club, 31 Bopete Lane, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
