Amanda I. Lamplot, 94, of Plymouth, NH, passed away on Monday September 3, 2018 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin, after a brief stay. She was born in Boston, MA on March 19, 1924 the daughter of Harry O. and Mary H. (Sherman) Henderson and was raised there. She lived in Wilmington, MA for many years and moved to Campton, NH in the early 1960’s where she remained until very recently. Amanda had been employed by the Grafton County Sheriff’s Department for 14 years and at the NH Department of Corrections men’s prison in Concord as a Corrections Officer. She was a member of the NH Quilters Guild and the American Legion Auxiliary. Amanda was an avid quilter and loved gardening, sewing and crafts of all kinds. She enjoyed traveling around the USA and Europe and time spent in Florida.
Family including her children Beverly Ingersoll and husband Paul of Berlin, NH, Carol Moulton and husband Stanley of Campton, NH and Paul Gray and wife Debbie of Campton, NH; grandchildren Ann (Ingersoll) Morin, Paul Ingersoll and wife Tracy, Joseph Gray, Jason Gray, Justin Gray and Anthony Gray; several great grandchildren; siblings Russell Henderson, Ethel Burbine; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husbands Jerry Lamplot, Joseph Gray and Marshall Matteson and her son Joseph Gray, and her sister Bessie McKinnon.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11am at the NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online guestbook at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
