Barbara K. (Brown) Caligaris, 84, of Franklin, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Benchmark Senior Living at Forge Hill in Franklin. She was the beloved wife of Conrad P. Caligaris since 1953.
Born in Milford on February 17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Hilda (Camp) Brown.
Mrs. Caligaris was a resident of Franklin since 1999 and formerly resided in Holliston. She grew up in Milford, graduated from Milford High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Becker College in Worcester.
Mrs. Caligaris was a homemaker for many years and also worked at various bookkeeping jobs and at Caradonna’s Bridal Shop in Holliston for many years.
Mrs. Caligaris enjoyed quilting and square-dancing.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Joseph Caligaris and his wife Karen of Cincinnati, OH, David Caligaris and his wife Donna of Wellesley, John Caligaris and his wife Gail of Holyoke and Mark Caligaris and his wife Beverly of Greenville, SC, one daughter Julie Garilli and her husband John of Franklin and thirteen grandchildren.
She is also survived by a brother Ronald Brown and his wife Patricia of Avon, CT, a sister Cynthia Tokcarzuk and her husband Raymond of Las Cruces, NM and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, September 14 from 4-7 p.m. at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
A private burial will take place at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston at a later date.
