Constance A. (O’Brien) O’Leary, age 75, of Brockton, died unexpectedly August 30, 2018 at her home. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Hugh F. and Helen (Quinlan) O’Brien. She was raised and educated in Roslindale, and was a 1960 graduate of Roslindale High School and 1962 graduate of Katharine Gibbs. Connie had been employed for many years as an Administrative Assistant at Burns and Wilcox in Quincy and Wells Fargo in Boston. She was an accomplished oil and charcoal pastel artist. Connie enjoyed time by the ocean, whale watches, cooking, baking and crafts. She also enjoyed dancing and attending Russian ballets.
Connie is survived by her children Linda T. Sibilia and her husband Robert of Mansfield and Kevin A. O’Leary of Abington; six grandchildren Stephen F. and Katherine A. Sibilia, Shane P. and Noland P. O’Leary and Sebastian and Miles Kelley; two brothers Edward O’Brien of Wrentham and Hugh O’Brien of Phoenix and several nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of the late Stephen B. O’Leary, Jr.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday, September 6, 5-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street, Mansfield at 10am, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
