Barbara A. (Mahady) Murray, a 6 year resident of Marshfield and former 40 year resident of Scituate and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 81 years of age.
Barbara was born in Boston on July 31, 1937, a daughter of the late Frederick Mahady and Helen (White) Mahady. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated and graduated from Charlestown High School. Barbara worked as a Supervisor at Scituate Ocean Manor Nursing Home in Scituate for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading and especially appreciated the quality moments she was able to spend with each one of her grandchildren.
Barbara is the beloved wife of the late Philip C. Murray. She is the devoted mother of Kathleen Greenberg and her husband Francis Orlando, John Murray and Philip C. Murray Jr. and his wife Heather Perkins. She is the loving Grammy/Mimi to Jillian, Dominic, Ryan, Brady and Melissa. She is the beloved sister of Mary Crosby, Frederick Mahady and Robert Mahady. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Barbara's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
