Mr. Henry "Desi" Leal, a resident of Andover, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. He was 58 years old.
Born in Colusa, California, he was the beloved son of Efren and Enedina (Acosta) Leal. Mr. Leal was a Flight Attendant for Delta Airlines for more than 20 years. He enjoyed cooking, was a devout catholic and had a special love for his dog, Missy. He was very creative and had a quick sense of humor. He was devoted to his family and friends. Henry will be dearly missed.
Henry was the loving brother of Rachel Westfall of Arizona, Anna and her husband Thomas Diaz of California, Alice and her husband Pedro Persaud of Florida, Irene Boultz of Colorado, Rosa Emma of California, Jimmy and his wife Rose Leal of California and Efren Leal, Jr. of California, devoted nephew of Brandee, Breanna, Lisa, Andrea, Leslie, Jaime, David, Stephen and Chris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Interment will be held in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover. Donations in Henry's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
