Surenian, Rouben of Watertown, formerly of Belmont and Lexington, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side, after a long battle with cancer, September 2, 2018. Beloved husband of Lida (Jagaspanian) Surenian. Devoted father of Ara Surenian and his wife Lena, Janet Lorden and her husband Gerard and Roubina Surenian. Loving grandfather of Alek, Aleena and Armen Surenian and Vanessa and Alisa Lorden. Brother of Faris Minassian, Darius Surenian and his wife Rose and the late Anahid Shahinian. Uncle of Carmen, Caroline, Armineh, Greg, Jeff and Sandy. Also survived by many loving great nieces and great nephews. Funeral service at Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church, 38 Elton Avenue, Watertown on Thursday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church on Wednesday, September 5 from 4 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church.
