Kenneth W. Eastman, 80, of Londonderry, NH, died Friday August 31, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Boston, MA on May 22, 1938, a son of the late Elmer Eastman and Christina (Smith) Minkkinen. He had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 19 years, formerly living in Somerville, MA. Mr. Eastman was a US Army National Guard veteran. He was employed as a truck driver for many years. Following retirement, he worked as a bus driver for 13 years for STA.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Castor) Eastman of Londonderry; one son, David Eastman and his wife Roberta of Brockton, MA; three daughters, Debra Hamson and her husband Dennis of Manchester, NH, Donna Schmidt and her husband Alan of Londonderry, and Kristin Costa and her husband James of Londonderry; one daughter-in-law, Roberta Dowling-Eastman of CA; seven grandchildren; as well as six great grandchildren.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
