Ida (Rebello) Rose, 93, of Adamsville, RI died peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, August 31, 2018. She was wife of the late John H. Rose.
Born in Somerset, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Lima) Rebello, she had lived in Tiverton for most of her life. She was the founder and former owner along with her husband of Roseland Acres Equestrian Center. She was also co-owner / operator of John H. Rose Construction Company and Roseland Builders. Mrs. Rose was well loved and respected in the equestrian community.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Patricia J. Medeiros and her husband Frank of Tiverton and Pamela A. Cyr and her late husband Richard N. Cyr of Adamsville; 2 grandchildren: Jon G. Sequeira and his wife Amanda Snellinger and Jennifer K. Gallant and her husband Steven; 2 great grandchildren: Emily and Alayna Gallant; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. Barnabus Church, 1697 E. Main Rd., Portsmouth, RI at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
