Casey Neal Ricker passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Mystic CT on August 30th. He was born in San Jose, CA to Jean (Kibbe) Ricker of Burnsville NC and Gordon L Ricker who predeceased him. He moved to Connecticut in 1994 from North Charleston SC where he left behind many great friends. He was a graduate of Stall High School in North Charleston and from the University of Connecticut.
At the time of his passing, he was employed as a civilian on the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton CT.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dianna "Lynn" (Lookabill) Ricker, son Jacob (Alley) Ricker of Mystic CT, daughter Emily (Julian) Romero of Santa Rita GU, three adored grandchildren, his mother of NC, sisters Teresa (Tom) Godfrey and Darcy (Allen) Strand of Aberdeen SD and several other much-loved family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, from 5 to 7pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic. Family and friends are invited to the Ricker residence for a reception following the service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations in Casey's honor be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the charity of your choice.
Casey Neal Ricker, 60, of Mystic died Thursday, August 30, 2018 at his home. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dianna L. Ricker.
